Our commitment

Beam (beam.builders) is committed to making its website usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We design and build with accessibility in mind and continually work to improve the experience for everyone.

Conformance status

We aim to conform to Israeli Standard IS 5568 (ת״י 5568) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA, the technical standard required under the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013. This website is in partial conformance: most of the site meets Level AA, while some areas described under “Known limitations” do not yet fully conform.

Accessibility features we provide

• An accessibility menu (opened from the “Accessibility settings” link in the footer of every page) to enlarge text, increase line spacing, enable high-contrast or grayscale modes, highlight links, switch to a more readable font, and stop animations — with your choices remembered between pages.
• Full keyboard operability, a “skip to main content” link, and a clearly visible keyboard focus indicator on every interactive element.
• Respect for the operating-system “reduce motion” preference, plus an in-page control to stop animations.
• Descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images, and decorative graphics hidden from screen readers.
• Accessible menus and dialogs (focus management, Escape to close, focus return) and color contrast that meets Level AA for body text and controls.

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some content is not yet fully accessible. We are working to resolve the following:

• The interactive product demos on the home page are an illustrative supplement; their core message is also conveyed in the surrounding static text.
• The demo-booking page will embed a third-party scheduling tool; until then, an email alternative is provided (see below), and we will re-test the scheduler for accessibility before it goes live.

חברת Beam‏ (beam.builders) רואה חשיבות רבה בהנגשת האתר לכלל הציבור, לרבות אנשים עם מוגבלות. אנו מתכננים ומפתחים את האתר מתוך מחשבה על נגישות, ופועלים באופן שוטף לשיפור חוויית השימוש עבור כל המשתמשים.

רמת הנגישות באתר

אנו פועלים לעמידה בדרישות תקן ישראלי ת״י 5568 ברמה AA וב־ הנחיות WCAG 2.0 ברמה AA, כנדרש בתקנות שוויון זכויות לאנשים עם מוגבלות (התאמות נגישות לשירות), התשע״ג–2013. האתר נמצא בהתאמה חלקית: רוב חלקי האתר עומדים ברמה AA, ולצד זאת קיימים מספר רכיבים — המפורטים תחת “מגבלות ידועות” — שטרם הונגשו במלואם.

אמצעי הנגישות שאנו מספקים

• תפריט נגישות (נפתח מקישור “Accessibility settings” בפוטר בכל עמוד): הגדלת טקסט, הגדלת מרווח שורות, מצב ניגודיות גבוהה או גווני אפור, הדגשת קישורים, מעבר לגופן קריא ועצירת אנימציות — וההעדפות נשמרות במעבר בין עמודים.
• הפעלה מלאה במקלדת, קישור “דלג לתוכן הראשי”, וסימון מיקוד (Focus) ברור על כל רכיב אינטראקטיבי.
• כיבוד העדפת “הפחתת תנועה” של מערכת ההפעלה, ובנוסף אפשרות לעצירת אנימציות מתוך האתר.
• טקסט חלופי לתמונות בעלות משמעות, והסתרת גרפיקה דקורטיבית מקוראי מסך.
• תפריטים וחלונות נגישים (ניהול מיקוד, סגירה במקש Escape, החזרת מיקוד), וניגודיות צבעים העומדת ברמה AA עבור טקסט ורכיבי ממשק.

מגבלות ידועות

על אף מאמצינו, חלק מהתכנים טרם הונגשו במלואם. אנו פועלים לתיקון הנושאים הבאים:

• ההדגמות האינטראקטיביות בעמוד הבית הן המחשה משלימה; המסר המרכזי שלהן מובא גם בטקסט הסטטי שסביבן.
• בעמוד תיאום ההדגמה ישולב כלי תיאום פגישות חיצוני; עד אז מוצעת חלופה בדוא״ל (ראו להלן), ואנו נבדוק מחדש את נגישות הכלי לפני העלאתו.
